The Health Center at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities is well known for its compassionate and capable staff, who provide 24-hour nursing care sensitive to each to each resident's needs. All of the Special Care Unit rooms are private, offering residents and their families the privacy of a home-like setting.
The Ann Ruge Special Care Unit is a newly renovated 18-bed secured facility that accomodates residents experiencing Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia or other related disorders.
Each staff member is carefully selected because he/she has essential qualities of patience and understanding, as well as experience in caring for people with special needs. All staff members receive onging training to ensure that they are providing the most up-to-date and compassionate care possible to meet the special needs of residents with that require special care.
The Special Care Unit has excellent state survey records from the State of Iowa.
